Most sites calling themselves anonymous still want an email to verify, a phone to confirm, and a profile to fill in. That is pseudonymous at best. Anonymous should mean there is nothing about you to expose in the first place.
What we never collect
No email, phone, social login, photo, age or location. A nickname is the whole sign-up, and it doesn't have to be the same one twice. Messages delete after 14 days.
Rooms or one-to-one
Rooms hold up to 30 people and you can read a while before saying anything — easier than a 1:1 that opens with two people staring at an empty box. One tap on the circle if you'd rather have the 1:1.
The room list does not lie
Most chat sites invent headcounts so the lobby looks alive. We removed ours. Rooms show when someone last actually spoke, so the one marked live really has someone in it.

Is registration really not required?
Correct. Nickname only — no email, password, phone or social login.
Can people find out who I am?
There is nothing to find. Never share your real name, workplace, school, address or social handles, and no one has anything else to go on.
How many people fit in a room?
Up to 30 per topic room. You can also create your own on any subject.
Are the user counts real?
Yes. Rooms show real last-activity rather than a fabricated headcount, which is why some of them plainly say they are quiet.
Is it moderated?
Block and report sit in every conversation, house rules are on the safety page, and reports go to us rather than to a public score anyone can abuse.
