Will I connect to someone instantly?+
A match needs another person in the video queue at the same time. At quieter hours you may need to wait or come back later.
Do I need an account or an app?+
No email, password or app download. We use a nickname and a technical session to connect you. Video chat also needs camera and microphone permission in your browser.
When does my camera turn on?+
Only after you request a preview and allow browser access. Your media isn’t sent to a partner until you start matching. Leaving stops your camera and microphone.
Can I talk without video?+
Yes. Text chat is available without camera access. You can also turn your camera off during a video call and keep talking by voice.
